AJAX Spell Checker - Spellify
I have been waiting for a tool like this for years. Have you been the same, when filling in an online form you want to tech some spelling and you have to copy the text and open Microsoft Word, then 5 mins later you can carry on typing? Or is it just me? Anyway for me that time is over!
Well this is a great little too that used Googles API to do the spell checking but uses it in an “AJAX way” to almost instnatly tell you if there are any spelling corrections and what they are. As soon as you press the space bar, full stop etc to finish a word Spellify gets to work! Lootk at the screen shot i did below to show how it works!
I think it will be really good to get it embedable. I guess at the moment you could use an iFrame but thats clunky. Take a look at the site for yourself! But bare in mind its still in beta, even tho it looks pretty polished!
