Google Web 2.0 Compliant?

GoogleI had a random thought earlier. Does Google actually have anything that is web 2.0 compliant? After a brief search I found a website by AdBrite creator Pud. Called Certifyr. It is an extremely simplified form to see if your website is Web 2.0 compatible. It has a checklist of about 10 items. If you check any one of the boxes then your website is web 2.0 compatible. But with this I will assume Google is Web 2.0 compatible if I check more than 2 boxes. Just to make sure!

I used the list from this form to see how Google matched up. Here are my findings.

With this test I used all of Googles sites rather than just the search home page google.com.

So the brief suspicion I had this morning was absolutely wrong! By Certifyr standards Google is Web 2.0 compliant! This is not a definitve answer as there is no such thing. But it’s the closest I can get.

I also did this check on TechJuicer and here is the result:

Web 2.0 Compliant!

Official score: 69%
